Waiting on Wednesday (#19)

"Waiting on Wednesday" is a weekly event hosted by Jill from Breaking the Spine, that spotlight upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating. This week's pre-publication "can't-wait-to-read" is..

Title: Iron's Prophecy (The Iron Fey #4.5)
Author: Julie Kagawa
Expected Publication: September 1st 2012
Publisher: HarlequinTeen

Meghan Chase is finally getting used to being the Iron Queen, ruler of the Iron Fey. Her life may be strange, but with former Winter prince Ash by her side at last, she wouldn't have it any other way.

But when they travel to the Summer and Winter courts’ gathering for Elysium, the oracle from Meghan’s past returns with a dire prophecy: “What you carry will either unite the courts, or it will destroy them.” Now Meghan faces a devastating choice that may determine the future of all fey—and her and Ash’s unborn child…

A novella from the bestselling Iron Fey series

Some people might think that Kagawa might just be dragging the story too much but when I found this out I was just really really happy. Will finally be able to see Ash and Meghan as a couple without all those things taking them apart! And come on, Baby Kierran is coming!!!!!!!!! :))

  1. *sigh* I still have to read the first book of this series. I've read Julie's THE IMMORTAL RULES, though, and absolutely loved it! I love the cover for this book. :) Thanks for sharing!

  2. Eeek! I do think maybe there are A LOT of books/spinoffs/novellas for this world, but I'm not complaining. I do love Ash and Meghan so can't wait to read this. Great pick! :)

  3. I still haven't read anything of Julie Kagawa's yet. I really need to do something about that, especially if she's as good as people seem to think. Cool pick, Eunice! :)

  4. Great pick! New follower.:)
    My Wow:

  5. Nice one, ate! => Julie Kagawa says this is really the last story of Meghan so I'm excited to see how it ends!

  6. I need to read this series ASAP! I started it, then completely forgot about the series. Thanks for reminding me and I hope you get to read this soon, Eunice.(:

  7. I can definitely see why some people would think that Julie is milking the series. Even though I'm a huge fan, I do kind of agree. However, I'm going to read this anyway! It sounds fabulous. ;D I love the series, so I'll probably read everything Iron fey related. Awesome pick, Eunice! <3

  8. Whoa more Megan + Ash novellas??!?! I had no idea! Thanks for putting this as your WoW; I loved the series and will def check it out. :)
